Layers of me pile on, a burden that becomes incredible heavy to carry. Protective layers formed from lies and betrayal eventually suffocate me. To stop the pain, letting go is my only option. Letting go isn’t the end, it’s the beginning, a rebirth. This suffocating embrace also disguised as hug tricks the mind causing me to create a safer environment where the foundation is built on love.
