Survival isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like sitting alone, head down, carrying more than anyone can see. I painted this from my own reflection—Nike slides on, body slumped, trying to catch my breath under the weight of it all. These were the moments I kept to myself, when holding it together felt like the only option. Not broken, just quiet. Just trying to last long enough to make it through the next day.
