Happy and sad can look like very different things. My smiles are for me and for those I deem worthy. I give them out sparingly. Often, I may appear emotionless, even when I am in a great mood. In a world where happiness is expected by default, I challenge that assumption. Not by trying to be different, but by choosing to stay reserved. I do not give myself away just because others feel entitled to a piece of me.
