What happens when you finally decide that the chains holding you together might actually be the ones keeping you stuck? I came to realize they were never supporting me, just trapping me in a loop I didn’t ask for. I refused to stay in that cycle, refused to be part of a fear-based way of living where the past holds the present hostage. The illusion is that if you let go, everything will fall apart. But the truth? When I let go, nothing crashed. The world didn’t end. What actually fell away was the weight I’d been carrying; heavy, suffocating, and rooted in fear. And in that release, I found freedom.
